Adding another entry to my generic decklists for Overlord (a.k.a. Nazarick)’s Ainz.
I’ve joked that people just don’t play Overlord, but there were in fact 28 topping decklists between BCS 2023 and BSF 2024 (mostly in the latter); none in BCS 2023 Worlds that we know of, though, except for one that went 1-X.
All the cards used in those decks can be found in this spreadsheet, and this deck list collects the 50 most-used cards.
Ainz lists tend to be shorter than a lot of other lists, with a decent number of 4-ofs (and of course the 5-of event), which made this easier to put together than some of the others (notably Mjurran, which unsurprisingly has more of a tendency towards 1-ofs and tech cards, and also has less agreement on the overall shape of the deck). One interesting thing about the generic decklist is that it ended up with 2 chasers, even though each individual list had either 0 or 4; the 4 chasers were cards 49-52, so only 2 of them made it in. Exactly half of the lists ran them, so it ends up making a weird sort of sense I suppose.
